There are events that sometimes stop one dead in their tracks. In an instant everything can change. The news of David's passing was a blow. Words won't even come close to describing the emotions experienced by his passing. What's more, words won't comfort or make that pain go away.
My time in his life was short. There was never a dull moment around him. He'd flip a lid on the drop of a hat, and five minutes later be as happy as a pig in mud. He had a special uniqueness to him. A whiff of confidence mixed in with a flair of cocky that always seemed to somehow make me laugh.
When he joined the Henderson Family, I was commissioned to train him. I enjoyed our time together and got a kick out of his personality. He was quickly introduced to several people in my circle and we all took him in, so to speak. As he transitioned from being my student to an independent contractor, we both found there was much we can learn from each other.
My sincerest and deepest sympathies to the family during this difficult time. Dylan, your dad was very proud of you. Elaine, I heard so much about your efforts and love he experienced growing up.
