To the family of my dear friend. Johnny was part of our family since I was a little girl growing up in our small town.Where shall I begin to tell of all the visits, an adventures we took together. He was a good friend of my brothers and sister as well, he was really a brother to me in so many ways. Johnny went with me to "Town" alot while I went to get groceries or to the laundry mat back in the 80's. He was an "uncle" to my own children and we would visit the "farm" several times during the summer years, we would have soup and bologna sandwiches and he would give my kids rides on the tractor and would always bring them some sort of goodies. He was interested in photography too, and it was such fun to teach him how to use the camera. He made me an easel (which I still have a use) because he knew I was interested in painting. He has carved a huge space in the corner of my heart for him,as his character and his kindness, was so special to me and my family.I will never forget his enduring laugh and his legacy to anyone who knew him. What a kind and gentle human being he was. My thoughts and condolences to your family on such a sad time. May you Rest now Johnny.

I visited with Johnny often when I made Communion calls at Maplewood. He always had a smile for everyone and would laugh delighted when I would pick on him that I liked his hat and that if it came up missing I was the one who took it. I know God cant resist his smile and is now smiling back at him. Peace my friend

Lots of memories of Johnny Watson. One of the nicest guys I have ever known. I walked past his house ten times a day, on the way to my gramma's house. He always had that great big smile wherever I saw him. Sincere condolences to his family - he will be fondly remembered by all of us who grew up in and around South Colton.

So sorry to learn of Johnny's passing. Such a kind heart and a fixture at our store (Porter's General Store) when we lived there. He always had a smile on his face and we loved to listen to him and Shorty talk. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
