CHASE MILLSFuneral services for 76 year old Nancy L. Kinney, a resident of 6008 County Rt. 14, Chase Mills, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Donald Manfred presiding. Burial will follow the services in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Kinney passed away early Sunday morning at her home.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lindon, Chase Mills; a son, David Kinney, Chase Mills; her three daughters, Linda Kinney, Potsdam; Vicky and David Goldman, Hyde Park, NY; Cheryl and Tim Gagn謬, Raymondville; her six grandchildren, John Goldman, William Kinney, David Kinney Jr., Samantha Kinney, Sarah Goldman and Connor Gagnè. Nancy is also survived by her beloved great-granddaughter, Riley Secore as well as her brothers, Nelson and Judy Brothers, FL.; Hubert and Georgia Brothers, DeKalb Junction; Rodney Brothers, Virginia and her sister, Kathie and Wayne Beacraft, FL. Nancy was pre-deceased by her parents, her five brothers, Richard, Edward, Dennis, Donald and George and two sisters, Joan Kennedy and Judy Nolfi.
Born in Norfolk, NY on April 27, 1939 to the late Nelson and Dorcas Warner Brothers, Nancy graduated from school and married Lindon O. Kinney on October 5, 1957. Nancy worked at several businesses, including J.C. Penneys and Montgomery Wards and she was very generous, giving her time volunteering for many organizations and at school and donating to numerous charities. Nancy worked as a bank teller for HSBC Bank in Massena for many years, retiring in 1993. Nancy and her husband operated Kinneys Ceramic Shop out of their home for several years, where she made and painted her beautiful works of art. Most of all, Nancy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her grandchildren tremendously.
