NORFOLKGraveside services for 79 year old Yvonne E. Halvorsen, a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena and formerly of Norfolk, will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Bixby Cemetery in Norfolk. Mrs. Halvorsen passed away Monday morning at the Massena Memorial Hospital. Yvonne is survived by her six sons, Donald Jr., Norfolk; Ronald, Massena, Calvin, Bryn and Aaron, all of Norfolk and John and Marie Beth of Winthrop. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Yvonne was pre-deceased by her husband, a brother Earl and her sister, Gwendolyn.
Born in Potsdam, NY on April 25, 1936 to the late Clarence and Emma Fefee Tebo, she married Donald F. Halvorsen. He passed away on May 12, 1986. She worked for the Ames Department Store in Potsdam for many years. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com .
