NORFOLK—Graveside services for 83 year old Willard M. LaSalle, 175 West Main Street, Norfolk, will be held at a later date in the Sanford Corners Cemetery in Calcium, NY. Willard passed away on June 30, 2015. Willard is survived by three sons, Floyd LaSalle, Wesley and Daniel Bell; his four daughters, Violet Woodruff, Lisa LaSalle, Lori Zuniga and Jeannie Tobin; several grand and great-grandchildren as well as his sisters Patricia Drappo, Clara Hermon, Mary Salisbury and several nieces and nephews. Willard raised a lot of step-children and was pre-deceased by his brother, Carl. Born in Old Forge, NY on February 4, 1932 to the late Floyd and Clara Pyke LaSalle, a marriage to Frances Congdon ended in divorce. He worked as a security guard in Virginia and previously did odd jobs and carpentry. He started Impossible Dreams in Watertown. He loved country music and reading and studying law. He loved assisting and helping others. He enjoyed playing chess, in which at one time played a chess game against Bobby Fisher. Memorial Donations can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
