Obituary of Irma J. Stuart

POTSDAM—Funeral services for 67 year old Irma J. Stuart, 1202 Mayfield Drive, Potsdam, will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Irma passed away Tuesday afternoon at Canton Potsdam Hospital. Irma is survived by her son, Douglas, Las Vegas NV; a daughter Cindy and Steven Myers, Norfolk; her four grandchildren Joshua Robert, Austin Ames, Matthew and Emily Myers. She is also survived by her brother Donald Clark, KY ; a sister Maxine Currier, Potsdam and Laurie Stuart of Las Vegas, NV. Born in Ogdensburg on May 16, 1947 to the late Lloyd and Ethel-Margarite Mallory Clark. Marriages to Douglas K. Stuart and Tony A. Green ended in divorce. Irma was a homemaker, and also a driver for Kinney Drugs and St. Lawrence County Office of the ageing. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Potsdam. Irma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the Casino and helping people out. Memorial donations in her name can be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley or to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Cancer Center.
