NORFOLK—Graveside services for 82 year old Helen A. Brown, a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena and formerly of Norfolk, will be held in the spring in Brookside Cemetery in Waddington. Mrs. Brown passed away Sunday evening at the St. Regis Nursing Home. Helen is survived by her sons Mark and Teri Sherwood, Norfolk; Robert and Robin Sherwood, Lyons, NY; Richard Sherwood and Karen Egolf, PA; her daughters, Janis Bond and her companion Patrick French, Massena; Michelle Sherwood, Saranac Lake; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her brothers William Styles, Missouri and Terry Styles, Norfolk and her sisters Jean Grady, Norfolk and Frances Cole and several nieces and nephews. Helen was pre-deceased by a son William, her daughter Debbie and a sister Marylou Fairbridge. Born in Waddington on April 6, 1932 to the late William and Hilda Styles, Helen was self-employed as a Home Health Aide, helping many families out throughout the years. She enjoyed walking and socializing with family and friends. Memorial Donations in Helen’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
