Obituary of Joseph A. Bombard

CHASE MILLS—Funeral services for 47 year old Joseph A. Bombard, 889 Ruddy Road, Chase Mills, will be held Monday evening at 6 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Pastor Tim Montgomery presiding. Burial will be held in the Bixby cemetery in the spring. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Mr. Bombard passed away Friday morning at his home. Joseph is survived by his mother, Marie Bombard, Norfolk; his companion, Ann Deon, Chase Mills; his brother, Danny Bombard, Norfolk; his two sisters, Terri Bombard, Raymondville and Tracy Bombard, Norfolk; his four step children, Shawn Rafter, Massena; Roy Rafter, Stockholm; Amanda Deon and Kay Bullock, both of Massena; his Aunt Evelyn Smith, Norfolk and four nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, Arthur Bombard. Born in Gouverneur, NY on October 21, 1967 to Arthur and Marie Smith Bombard, Joe worked in Hogansburg for several years as well as delivering the Watertown Daily Times for many years. He loved to go camping and fishing and enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. Memorial Donations in his memory can be made to the Cancer Treatment Center in Ogdensburg.
