Norwood - Memorial services for 90 year old Guido "Bud" diVincenzo of 37 Prospect Street, Norwood, will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor of St.Andrews Church, officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 10-11 AM.Mr. diVincenzo died Thursday at his home in Norwood.
Surviving are 2 Sons; Antonia diVincenzo of Norwood and Michael & Denise diVincenzo of Norwood; 3 Grandchildren; Paul of New Jersey and Adam & David of Norwood.; 1 sister; Marie & Jim Deveral;Rochester.
Born in Philadelphia,Pa, son of Guido& Martha Muncey diVincenzo,he married Whilmia Mae Dimond in August ,1948. She died on November 30,,2004.
He was self-Eployed as a Lumber Drykiln Consultant for DiVi Enterprises.He was a member of the Southeastern Drykiln Association in North Carolina, a past firemen in Bloomingdale, a mentor and he loved his family and his dog Cindy.He was an inventor,mechanical engineer and craftsman.Both he and his wife were cured of tuberculosis at the Trudeay Institute in Saranac Lake.
