NORWOOD—Funeral services for 57 year old Edward N. Murcray Jr., 923 Mayfield Drive, Potsdam, will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Burial will take place after the service in the Brookdale Cemetery in Brookdale. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Friday from 10am-12pm and from 2pm until the time of the service. Mr. Murcray passed away Tuesday afternoon at his home. Edward is survived by his son, Christopher, Norfolk; his two daughters, Rebecca and Timothy Trimm, Massena and Angela and Matt Grey, Liverpool; four grandchildren; his brother, Michael Murcray, Johnston, NY; his sisters Vicky Murcray, Lewis, NY; Marie Scheening, Norwood; Sheryl Ceresoli, Hammond, and Lynn and Lloyd Howe, Hannawa Falls. He was pre-deceased by his sister Deborah Egolf. Born in Canton, on December 15, 1956 to the late Edward and Ruth Henningan Murcray Sr., Edward enjoyed sports and was a big fan of the NY Yankees.
