COLTON– Funeral Services for 78 year old Floyd P. Fallon, 80 Gulf Road, Colton, will be held Wednesday at 11 am at St. Patricks Church with Rev. Raymond Moreau, pastor, presiding. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery, Colton. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton. Mr. Fallon passed away on Sunday evening at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Survivors– Wife– Jane, Colton; Sons– Bruce, Pierrepont, Steve, Parishville, Daniel and his fiancé Mary Cullen, Durham, Maine; Daughters– Marie and John Smith, Brownville, NY and Lisa and Robert Oseles, St. Petersburgh, Fla.; 3 Granddaughters; a Brother Roswell Fallon, Colton and a Sister Louise Morrow, Ogdensburg. He was pre-deceased by a Daughter-in-law Maureen Fallon, a Grandson, Eric Smith, and Sisters Esther Lennox, Dorothy Scott, and Barbara Miller. Born in Pierrepont on February 24, 1930 to Floyd and Grace Pearl Fallon, he married Jane C. Christy on May 21, 1955. He worked for the Niagra Mohawk Power Company as a supervisor for the meter and test department for 39 years, retiring in 1990. He was a Charter member and Past President of the Brunner Hill Hunting Club, member and Past Chief of the Colton Fire Department, a former councilman for the Town of Colton and loved hunting and outdoor activities. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948-1949. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Colton Rescue Squad or to a charity of one’s choice.
