Obituary of Anna A. Lanctot

NORWOOD—Funeral arrangements for 98 year old Anna A. Lanctot, a resident of the Maplewood Campus in Canton and formerly of Norwood, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Gregg Stierheim presiding. Burial will be held after the service at Riverside Cemetery in Norwood. Family and Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Anna passed away Tuesday evening at the Maplewood Campus. Anna is survived by her two daughters, Martha Lanctot, Liverpool and Kathryn Sauther, Malone and her sister Alyce Stephens, Hillsboro, OR. She was pre-deceased by her brother Harold Werner. Born in Duxbury, VT on October 12, 1915 to the late Bruno and Amanda Wilde Werner, Anna married Edward K. Lanctot on July 16, 1940. Edward passed away in August of 2007. Anna was a bookkeeper at Merriman’s Building Supply in Norwood and previously worked at Kinsman Wright also of Norwood. Anna was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed bowling and quilting. Memorial Donations in her name may be made to the Norwood Library or a Local food pantry.
