COLTONFuneral services for 76 year old Michael J. Regan Sr., 4345 State Hwy. 56 Colton, will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton, with Rev. Msgr. Robert Aucoin presiding. Burial will be held in the South Colton Cemetery, following the service. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Michael passed away Wednesday at his home in Colton.
Michael is survived by his sons, Rodney & Kathy Regan, South Colton; Michael & Melanie Regan, Colton; his daughters, Mrs. Tony & Michele Weaver, Potsdam; Mrs. Peter & Dawn Thomas, Dumfries, VA; Mrs. Michael & Pamela Durant, Winthrop; his brothers, Patrick Regan, Pierrepont; Francis & Myrtle Regan, Canton; Lawrence & Sandy Regan, South Colton; Bernard & Debbie Regan, Colton; Thomas & Jodi Regan, Ogdensburg; his sisters, Elizabeth Morrow, Colton; Elaine Capps, West Point VA; Mary Fisher and her companion Ed Gordon, South Colton; a brother in law Donald & Millie Holland, South Colton; his 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife Marlene in November of 2003.
Born in Louisville on May 19, 1938 to the late Michael and Evelyn Brothers Regan, Michael married Marlene Holland on June 24, 1959. He was a heavy equipment operator for operating engineer Local 158 in Syracuse. Mike was a great story teller, he loved to hunt and fish, he also enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds.
