Obituary of Robert W. LaBaff

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 66 year old Robert W. LaBaff, 70 Sawyer Ave, Malone and formely of Norfolk, will be held Monday June 2, at 10 a.m. the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk, with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Mr. LaBaff passed away on May 21, 2014 at the home of his niece, Tabitha Martin in Nicholville. Robert is survived by his sister, Barbara and Michael Claffey, Norfolk and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother David LaBaff and his two sisters, Leona Roach and Marrianne Branchaud. Born in Potsdam, on July 4, 1947 to the late Leo and Albertine Branchaud LaBaff, Robert was a self employed artist. He enjoyed painting, especially religious prints, making jewlrey and he also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation for many years.
