NORWOOD- Funeral services for 58 year old Kenneth H. Harper, of 1422 Old Market Road, Norwood, will be held Monday at 11AM at the Knapps Station Community Church, with Rev.Lee Sweeney, pastor officiating.Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery, Potsdam. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mr. Harper died Thursday morning at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital of a myodardial infarction. Surviving are his wife Carlie of Norwood; a Daughter Jamie & Corey Murray of Colton; a Step Daughter Kara & Seth Copes of Columbus,Miss.;2 Step- Sons; Mark LaFountain & fiance Cammie Ashley of Pheonix, Arizona and Brett Jesmer of Meadow Valley, California.;a Grandaughter Hayley Murray;3 Step-Grandchildren;Madison,Morgan, & Kathryn Copes; and 1 Brother Douglas Harper of Raymondville. Born in Massena on September 11, 1950, son of Alan and Bertha Morrissette Harper, he married Constance "Carlie" VanDeusen on July 3, 2002.He owned and operated the C & K Air Cooled Engine Shop and was a small engine repair mechanic. He was a member of the Norwood American Legion,Brunner Hill Hunting Club, was an avid hunter, enjoyed 4 wheeling, traveling, and his dog Lucy. He was an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.
