COLTONFuneral Services for 59 year old Douglas A. Erwin, 99 County Route 58 Colton, will be held Wednesday at the 10a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton, with Rev. Msgr. Robert Aucoin presiding. Burial will be held at the St. Patricks Cemetery in Colton following the service. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mr. Erwin passed away Thursday at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Cynthia, Colton, his mother, Barbara & Francis Pyrce, Madrid, his sons, Derrick Erwin, Ogdensburg, Branden Erwin, Colton, Shawn & Rena Jenny Erwin, SC, and Jason & Amanda Erwin, Madrid, his daughter, Katina Tina Erwin, Russell, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, his step-brother, Steven & Laurie Pryce, Madrid, his sisters, Vickie & Wayne Ashley, Madrid, Tracy & John Lesniewski, Chazy, and his step-sisters, Kathy & David, FL, Darcy & Butch Richards, Madrid. Douglas was pre-deceased by his father, Floyd and his brother, Randy Erwin.
Born in Potsdam on June 2, 1954 to Floyd and Barbara (Randall) Erwin. He married Cynthia M. Caster on November 11, 1972. Douglas worked at Adon Farms in Parishville as a mechanic and farmer.
