COLTON-- Joan Maureen Scott, formerly of Colton, NY and most recently United Helpers Nursing Home Ogdensburg, NY, went home to be in the loving arms of The Lord on Tuesday May 13, 2014. Joan was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Aletha, her sister Gloria Scott Rogers, and her 2 brothers Wendell and Reginald. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Ledford Nadeau and her husband Armand, Burlington, Connecticut, Kelly Sochia D'Amour and her husband Trevor, Colton, NY and 2 grandchildren Matthew Scott Moroni, Westbrook, Connecticut and Alexandria Lee Sochia, Colton, NY. Joan was born in Norfolk, NY and attended school in Norwood. After graduation she became a secretary for the FBI, on her return to the north country, she became an automotive office manager and bookkeeper for many years with local businesses.
