Obituary of Lee C. Gravelle

NORWOOD—Funeral services for 62 year old Lee C. Gravelle, 39 Park Street, Norwood will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Andrew Amyot presiding. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mr. Gravelle passed away Wednesday unexpectedly. Lee is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jeanette; his two daughters, Kimberly and Kevin Smith, Norfolk and Jennifer Gravelle, Pine Bush, NY; one granddaughter, Claire; a brother, Lawrence Gravelle, Norwood and nieces and nephews. Born in Malone on May 16, 1951 to the late Robert L. and Hazel Goodman Gravelle, Lee married Jeannette E. Dow on December 3, 1977. Lee worked for the Mead Paper Company in Potsdam. He was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood and enjoyed daily rides looking for wildlife, watching hockey games and his dog, Ranger. Lee served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1970-1976.
