NORWOOD - Funeral services with Full Military Honors for 91 year old Harold G. Sloan of 238 Andrews Street,Massena; will be held Wednesday at 10AM at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Heuvelton. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood Tuesday from4-7 PM.Mr. Sloan died Sunday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are 3 Nephews;Robert & Charlotte Chapin;Hall,NY;Donald & Deatta Chapin;Raymondville,NY;Harold & Colleen Chapin;Norwood;3 Nieces:Dorothy Crowe;Clayville,NY;Shirley & Lawrence Aldous;Canton;Eleanor & Arnold Cunninham;Morley;several great and great-great nieces and nephews.His caregivers have been his great niece Carla Saber and his Great-Great niece Jessica Saber , both of Massena.
Born in DePeyster on December 9, 1916,son of Amos and Lulu Parish Sloan; he married Ada Mae Hewitt who predeceased him.He was employed at Conrail in Gouverneur, New York.He was a WW II Army Veteran.On line condolences may be made at www.buckfuneralhome.com
