Obituary of Devin M. Waite

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 20 year old Devin M. Waite, 11 Remington Ave, Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Mr. Waite passed away tragically Thursday afternoon. Devin is survived by his parents Richard and Wendy Waite and Tracy Baxter and fiancé Patricia Fairfield, both of Norfolk; a sister, Kristen Waite and a brother, Ryan Marriott, both of Norfolk; paternal grandfather, Roy Waite Sr., Potsdam; maternal grandfather, Chris and Robin Baxter Sr., Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Debra Baxter, Norfolk and great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Devin was pre-deceased by is paternal grandmother, Patricia Waite and a brother, Nathan Marriott. Born in Massena on August 15, 1993 to Richard and Tracy, Devin graduated with Honors from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 2013 with a Regents Diploma. He was planning on entering the U.S. Marines. Devin loved going to the gym every day and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time in the woods and going fishing. He also enjoyed skateboarding.
