Obituary of Donna L. Green

SOUTH COLTON— Funeral services for 69 year old Donna L. Green, 244 Little John Road, South Colton, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Tom Chappell presiding. Burial will be held in Stark Cemetery, South Colton. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Green passed away Saturday morning at her home. Donna is survived by her two sons, Douglas and Becky Green, Colton and Dean Green and his companion, Rhea McDonald, South Colton; her four daughters, Denise and Jeffrey Scovil, Colton; Damita Hogle and her companion Leo Sawyer, Ontario, NY; Patsy Green and her companion John Hubbard, South Colton and Ellie and Roger Murray, Norfolk. Donna is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a sister, Linda and Bruce Newcomb, Norfolk. Donna was pre-deceased by her husband, two brothers, Earl and Paul LaMora and two sisters, Doreen DeRushia and Elizabeth Crump. Born in Potsdam on March 18, 1944 to the late John and Mildred Forrest LaMora, Donna married Archie Green. He passed away on May 16, 2004. Donna worked as a School Bus Driver for the Colton-Pierrepont Central School, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, going to garage sales and playing cards.
