POTSDAM—There will be no services for 75 year old Kenneth P. Spencer, of 832 Hatch Road, Potsdam. Mr. Spencer passed away Saturday evening at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Kenneth is survived by his three sons, Ricky and MaryJo, Sebring, Florida; Randy, Parishville; Charles, Raymondville; his daughters, Patti Orologio, Potsdam; Amy and Eric Gaumes, Norwood, Mary Merkley and Todd Phillips, Norwood; Penny Spencer, Parishville and his sister, Shirley and Robert Pommerville, Cranberry Lake. He had 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Kenneth was pre-deceased by the rest of his siblings. Born on March 26, 1938 in Potsdam to the late Frank and Mary Cuthbert Spencer, Kenneth graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central and served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Reynolds Metal for 40 years as a fabricator. Kenneth was a member or the Raripaco Hunting Club in South Colton. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his camp. Ken also enjoyed sports, especially bowling and basketball. Memorial Donations can be made to the West Stockholm Fire and Rescue Departments.
