RAYMONDVILLE-- Calling hours for 40 year old Heather Lea Planty, 36 Grantville Road, Raymondville, will be held Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. There will be a luncheon held Monday at the Norfolk American Legion in Norfolk at 12 noon. Mrs. Planty passed away early Friday morning at her home. Heather is survived by her husband, Matthew, her two sons, Cody and Jake and her daughter, Madison, all of Raymondville; her father, Ricky and Kathy Emlaw, Norfolk; her mother, Kim Cramer, Madison, GA; her two brothers, Christopher Emlaw and his fiancé, Amy Fountain, Norfolk and Timothy and Cynthia Tebo, Appalachian, NY; her father-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Planty, Raymondville; her sister-in-law, Jennifer and Ed Ashley, Norfolk and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her caring and loving friends. Heather was pre-deceased by her paternal grandmother, Frances Emlaw, her maternal grandparents, Hal and Norma Cramer and her mother-in-law, Florence LaPointe. Born in Massena on January 10, 1973 to Ricky and Kim Cramer Emlaw, she graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School. She worked at the family business, Emlaw’s Tire and Auto as the bookkeeper and secretary. She enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and occasionally going to the casino. Heather also enjoyed gardening, working with the Norfolk-Norwood Figure Skating Club and she was passionate about walking for Relay for Life. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, the American Cancer Society, the St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund or the Norfolk-Norwood Figure Skating Club.
