NORWOODServices for 82 year old Illene I. Chudzinski, 22 Park Street, Norwood, will be held privately. Illene will be buried next to her husband in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Mrs. Chudzinski passed away Saturday at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.
Illene is survived by her five sons, William and Cindy, Raymondville; Gary, Parishville; David and Priscilla, Norwood; Dale and Lisa, Waddington and Dana, Norwood. Illene is also survived by her seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Deloris Wilcox, Horseheads and Vera Flint, Elmira. She was pre-deceased by her husband Daniel and a sister, Bernice Heatherton.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 6, 1930 to the late Harold and Annabelle Mueller Hammond, she married Daniel Chudzinski on December 14, 1948. Daniel passed away on March 25, 2012. Illene worked for the Paces Food Service at SUNY Potsdam for 22 years, retiring in 1992. She was an avid reader and loved her cat Tiger.
