NORFOLKFuneral services for 55 year old Kim A. Grady, 5 Remington Ave, Norfolk, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mr. Grady passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning at his home.
Kim is survived by his mother Jean, Norfolk; his brother, John and Claudia Grady, Albany; his sister, Tammy and Thomas McGrath, Norfolk; a special Uncle, Terry Styles, Norfolk; two nieces, Jennie and Travis Villnave and Hillary McGrath, a nephew, James McGrath; a grand-niece, Hailey Villnave and a grand-nephew, Chance Villnave and his longtime friend, Robert Kerr and family.
Kim was born in Potsdam on December 22, 1957 to James and Jean Styles Grady. He graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 1975 as Valedictorian of his class. He attended Clarkson College and Canton ATC. Kim worked in the Pot rooms at the General Motors Plant in Massena until he became disabled due to a car accident in 1980. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk and was a member of the Norfolk Fire Department for 33 years and served for 19 years as the Treasurer. Kim enjoyed doing puzzles and participating in family activities. Donations can be made to the Norfolk Fire Department or the Norfolk Rescue Squad.
