Obituary of Gerald E. Donnelly

NORWOOD—There will be no funeral services at this time for 73 year old Gerald E. Donnelly, 101 Austin Ridge Road, Norwood. He will be buried in the Daily Ridge cemetery, Norwood. Mr. Donnelly passed away Christmas Eve at his home. Gerald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda; his two sons, John P. Donnelly, Rochester and Kevin Donnelly, Norwood and his two grandchildren, Aiden John and Aleah Elizabeth May. He was pre-deceased by his brother John Donnelly. Born in Hermon on March 16, 1939 to the late Leon E. and Marlene Eggleston, he graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 1958. He married Linda M. Farmer on August 7, 1965. He worked for Niagara Mohawk as a Hydro Maintenance Mechanic C, retiring in 1994. Previously, he worked at the Nekoosa Edwards Paper Mill. Gerald was a past member of the East Brook Hunting Club, St. Regis Falls, the Norwood American Legion, the Norwood Fire Department, including the racing team and the Brass Fireman’s Band.
