COLTONFuneral services for 64 year old Ronald C. Rodwell, a resident of Waterford, Michigan, and formerly of Colton, will be held Tuesday at 4 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Pastor Tom Chappell presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of the funeral.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Matt) Rapp, North Syracuse; four grandchildren; a brother Richard Rodwell, Karlsruhe, Germany and his two sisters, Candace Rodwell and her companion Mark Mallette, Chase Mills and Christine Eickhoff, Nicholville.
Born in Potsdam on March 30, 1948 to the late Paul and Marguerite Fisher Rodwell, Ronald graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1966. After school, Ronald was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1967-1973. While serving in Vietnam, he received several medals, among them, a Purple Heart. He was injured in Vietnam, and consequently was disabled.
