NORWOODFuneral Services for 62 year old Marilyn B. Doelger, Norwood, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Pastor David Van Epps presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mrs. Doelger passed away early Tuesday morning at her home surrounded by her family.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Harry, Norwood; her two sons, Jason (Ashley) Doelger, Plattsburg and Parker Doelger, Golden, Colorado; her mother, Carol Graham, Florida; her three grandchildren, Felicity, Blake and Kristoff Doelger; a step-son, Kristian (Kelly) Doelger, Skaneateles and her brother, David Bartlett and his companion Nancy Kennehan, Henderson, Nevada.
Born in Potsdam on May 6, 1950 to Mendell and Carol Conrad Bartlett, she graduated from Madrid-Waddington Central School in 1968 and enrolled in Delhi University where she received a Veterinary Technician Degree. Marilyn later received a Masters of Science Degree at Syracuse University in 1996. Marilyn worked as a Nurse Practitioner and was also the Director of Student Health at SUNY Potsdam. Previously, Marilyn was the owner and operator of The Clip Joint in Norwood until her retirement after 30 years. Marilyn was a member of the Zonta Club and enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping, skiing and boating. Marilyns true love was for animals, she loved them and enjoyed rehabilitating them.
