Obituary of Verna I. Hall

POTSDAM—Funeral services for 83 year old Verna I. Hall, 1403 Mayfield Drive, Potsdam, will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Potsdam. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Mrs. Hall passed away early Monday morning at home. Verna is survived by her son, Terry and Lynne Hall, Waddington; three daughters, Diane and Thomas Stone, Potsdam; Debbie and John Crutcher and Bonnie Edwards, both of Katy, Texas; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Verna is also survived by her three brothers, Nelson and Eleanor Guyette, Albany; Bob and Mary Guyette, Parishville; Royal and Mavis Guyette, Colton and her sister, Sharon and Bob Dean, Canton. Verna was pre-deceased by her husband, Arnold. Born in Massena on January 9, 1929 to the late Roy and Irene Beaulieu Guyette, she married Arnold G. Hall on September 25, 1950. He passed away on June 30, 2011. Verna was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening as well.
