NORWOOD—Funeral services for 60 year old Patrick J. Regan Jr. will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. There will be a luncheon to follow the services at the Norfolk American Legion. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Mr. Regan passed away early Wednesday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Pat is survived by his mother, Loretta “Petey” Regan, Norwood; his brother, Kevin and Annette Regan, Potsdam; his sister-in-law, Sue Regan, Potsdam; his niece, Jamie Merna, Rochester; his two nephews, Derek Regan, Potsdam and Jason Hamblin, Utah and a great niece and nephew, Madelyn and Liam Merna. Pat was pre-deceased by his father, Patrick Sr., a brother George Regan and his sister, Margaret Regan. Born in Potsdam on October 20, 1951 to Patrick J. and Loretta “Petey” Sabad Regan Sr., he received a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree from Clarkson University and also received a Master’s Degree from St. Lawrence University. Pat was currently working in Massena as the Director of the Massena Housing Authority. Pat has been very active locally, serving on the Village of Potsdam Zoning Board, the Potsdam School Board, served as a trustee at SUNY Potsdam College, was a member of the Massena’s Business Man’s Club, a member of the St. Lawrence Democratic Committee and a member of St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood. Pat was a former trustee for the Town of Potsdam and past Business Manager for BOCES of St. Lawrence County and was also a past Business Manager for five schools in Bethel, Vermont. In his spare time, Pat enjoyed music, reading and spending time with his family. Pat was an avid sports fan, following the N.Y. Yankees and N.Y. Giants.
