Obituary of Duane B. Bullock

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 71 year old Duane B. “Bucky” Bullock, 1697 County Route 38, Norfolk, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Burial will be held in the Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mr. Bullock passed away Saturday evening at the Massena Memorial Hospital. Bucky is survived by his wife, Ruth, Norfolk; a son Kevin, Norfolk; one brother, Gene and Sue Bullock, Norfolk; his four sisters, Sheila and James Richards, Parishville; Betty and William Durgan, Massena; Gloria and Bill Akins, Lisbon and Nancy Tucker, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Bucky was pre-deceased by his son, Brian in 1998, his two brothers, Harry and Herbert and his two sisters, Irene Richards and Joyce Stark. Born in Parishville on May 17, 1940 to the late Harry and Melba Bush Bullock, he married Ruth Warner on April 19, 1975. He owned and operated Bucky’s Alignment in Norfolk for the last 36 years and also worked at Reynolds Metals in Massena. He previously worked for the St. Lawrence County Highway Dept. and for John’s Chevrolet in Massena. Bucky was a member of the Massena Car Club and enjoyed classic cars, restoring classic cars and looked forward to his ten o’clock coffee break with friends.
