NORFOLK—Funeral Services for 75 year old Barbara M. Ashley, 49 River Road, Norfolk, will be held Friday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Jack Down’s presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mrs. Ashley passed away Tuesday afternoon at the St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena. Barbara is survived by her husband, Lawrence, Norfolk; a son, Lawrence and Nicole Ashley, Norwood, and her two grandchildren, Rhett and Ryley Ashley. Born in Potsdam on July 19, 1936 to the late Vernon and Audrey Jandrew Campbell, she married Lawrence Ashley on January 7, 1956. She worked as a waitress at the Sunset Lodge in Norwood and as a housekeeper at the Norfolk Housing Authority. Barbara enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk. Memorial Donations can be made to the Norfolk Rescue Squad or to the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk.
