NORFOLKGraveside services for 48 year old Roger James Wolfe, 135 Adams Road, Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk, with Rev. Andrew Amyot presiding. There will be no calling hours. Mr. Wolfe passed away on November 19, 2011 at Massena Memorial Hospital.
Roger is survived by his parents, Francis and Bernice Burkum Wolfe, Norfolk; three sons, Roger James Wolfe Jr. and companion Courtney Wadleigh, Brasher; Brandon Scott Wolfe and his companion Kristy Young, Norfolk; and Jonathon Tyler Wolfe, at home. Roger is also survived by two grandchildren, Roger James Wolfe III and Taylor Mae Wolfe; three brothers, Francis and Michelle Wolfe; Joseph and Carolyn Wolfe and Vernon Wolfe, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Bernice Murray, Norwood and Kathleen Wolfe, Norfolk; a nephew, Sean Robert Hoyden, Centerville, Virginia; four nieces, Mrs. Erik Emily Losey, Madrid; Mrs. Erik Heather Lynn Heidbreder, Jefferson City, MO; Mrs. Kyle Sonya Cryderman, Norfolk; Deanna Murray, Norwood; a great niece, Evie Ann Losey and two great nephews, Easton Losey and Wyatt Cryderman, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Born in Potsdam on March 27, 1963 to Francis and Bernice Burkum Wolfe, a marriage in 1986 to Pamela Jean Smith ended in divorce. He worked for the Pipe Fitters Union, Syracuse, NY as a journey man pipefitter. He was employed locally by Norwood Plumbing. Memorial donations can be made to the Norfolk Rescue Squad.
