NORFOLK—Funeral services for 58 year old Sylvia E. Bond, 8 West Main Street, Norfolk, will be held Thursday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mrs. Bond passed away Monday evening at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Richard, Norfolk; a son Richard and Karen Bond, Burbank, CA; her daughter, Lisa and Bruce LaDue, Massena and her four grandchildren, Trista, Ashley, Lleyton, and Lindsey. Sylvia is also survived by her brother, Thomas and Helen Pahler, Potsdam and her two sisters, Linda and Michael Schaff, Clamath Falls, Oregon and Annette and Kevin Regan, Potsdam. Born in Potsdam on December 25, 1952 to the late Siegfried and Hildegard Schulte Pahler, she married Richard K. Bond on April 27, 1974. She was a homemaker. Sylvia was a member of the Church of the Visitation and the Altar and Rosary Society. Memorial donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, Arizona, 85718 or to a Crohn’s Organization. The Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk is serving the family of Sylvia E. Bond.
