NORFOLK-- Funeral services for 99 year old Hilda H. Warner of the James Square Health and Rehab Center, North Syracuse, and formerly of Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Harold Wheat presiding. Burial will be held in the Bixby cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of the funeral. Mrs. Warner passed away Saturday evening at James Square.
Mrs. Warner is survived by her son, Clark and Barbara Warner, Norwood; her daughter, Mrs. Diane OConnor, North Syracuse; her four grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. Hilda is pre-deceased by her two brothers, George and Martin Clark and her sisters, Wilma Barkley, Edith Purves, Ida Colby, Frances Narrow, Blanche Hazen, and Eva Clark.
Born in Dickenson Center on April 2, 1912 to the late Herbert and Maude Winters Clark, she married Walter Lister Warner on February 10, 1934. He passed away in 1996. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts, spending time with her family and cooking. Hilda was a member of the Eastern Star, the Norfolk Home Bureau and the United Methodist Church Womens Group. Memorial Donations can be made to the Norfolk Methodist Church or to Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley.
