COLTON-- Memorial services for 62 year old Daniel P. Decker, 2 Riverside Drive, Colton and formerly of Monroe, NY, will be held Saturday, April 30 at 11 am at the Zion Episcopal Church in Colton with Deacon Pat Lavine presiding. Mr. Decker passed away Tuesday evening at his home. Mr. Decker is survived by his wife, Barbara, Colton; his brother, David and Rita Decker, Fulton; a nephew, Matthew and two nieces, Bethany and Michaela; his cousins, John Sheehan, West Potsdam; Gret Atkin, Ithaca and Sandra Potter, Anaheim, CA and his best friends, Tom and Diane Massey and Mike and Barbara Mohajery. Born in Potsdam on September 30, 1948 to the late Douglas and Margaret Clark Decker, he graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 1971 and married Barbara Weagle on November 24, 1973. He worked in Woodside, NY for the Schwarzkopf Micro Lab Company as a chemist. Mr. Decker was a member of the Colton Zion Episcopal Church and a member of the Weller Mountain Hunting Club. He was a former member of St. Annes Episcopal Church in Washingtonville. Memorial Donations can be made to the Zion Restoration Fund or to St. Lawrence Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.
