NORWOOD—Funeral services for 23 year old Nicholas R. Zahler, 15 Maple Street, Norwood will be held Thursday at 4 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. A spring burial will be held in the Fort-Jackson cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Mr. Zahler passed away early Monday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Nicholas is survived by his parents, Jim and Maureen Triolo, Norwood; his mother, Stephanie Fenner, Potsdam; two brothers, John Eli Delosh and Keith Fenner and his two sisters, Erin Triolo and Amy Triolo Brady. Born in Burlington, VT on March 26, 1987, Nicholas attended local schools through BOCES and participated in programs through SUNMOUNT DDSO and St. Lawrence County NYSARC. In his short life, he touched the life’s and hearts of many people. He will be greatly missed. Memorial donations can be made to the Potsdam Rescue Squad or to St. Lawrence County ARC.
