ORFOLK –There will be no calling hours or funeral services for 78 year old Carlton A. Pernice of 17 Hepburn Street in Norfolk. Mr. Pernice died Friday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Burial will be in Bixby Cemetery . Surviving; Two sons; Carl & Nancy Pernice of Brasher Falls; Charles & Kaylene Pernice of Norfolk; Three grandchildren; Two sister-in Laws; Lois Pernice of Norfolk and Lucille Dunn of Massena; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son Robbie in 1987 and by two brothers Glenn and Roger Pernice. Born in Norfolk on May 15, 1932, son of Ray. D. and Pearl Bush Pernice, he married Pauline Pernice on October 1, 1955. She died on February 27, 1990.He was a Cryolite Operator for Reynolds Metals for 36 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Norfolk American Legion; a longtime Tri-Town Little League Baseball Coach; an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Fan; Syracuse Basketball and New York Giants Football Fan.
