Las Vegas--Funeral arrangements for 50 year old Mark "Whytie" Norman Whyte will be held Friday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at St. Elizabath Ann Seton Catholic Church Las Vegas. Mr. Whyte died Friday, June 13 at home with his family after battling with cancer. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date in Colton. Surviving: Parents - Norman & Joan; Colton Wife -Cynthia Whyte;Las Vegas Son - Hamilton (13);Las Vegas Daughter - Mackenzie (11);Las Vegas Sisters - Mary-Jo & William Sutton;Colton Tracy & Edwin Harcourt; Colton Suzanne Edenhart; Cranberry Township,PA Carole Whyte, Fort Collins, CO Mother-in-law - Lee Horner, Las Vegas Brother-in-law - Kevin & Carolina Petalos; Mexico Nephews - William Michael Alexander Nieces - Danyelle Kurstyn Aunts Uncles Cousins Friends Born in Potsdam on Febuary 9, 1958, son of Norman and Joan Whyte, he graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1976. He attended the University of Las Vegas and graduated in 1984. He was a financial advisor working his last 15 years for Merrill Lynch. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and was very passionate about hockey.
