Obituary of Warren C. Dean

NORWOOD – Funeral services for 75 year old Warren C. Dean , of 3 Cook Road, Norwood; will be private and at the convienance of the family. There will be no calling hours. Mr. Dean died Sunday evening at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Surviving are his wife Shirley of Norwood; four sons, Lawrence O. Dean of Strawberry Plains, Tenn. ; Warren C. Jr. and Kimberly Dean of Glouchester, VA.; Gordon P. and Amy Dean of Colorado Springs,Colorado ; and Patrick M. and Patricia Dean of Norwood.; one daughter, Kimberly A. Dean – LaRock of Norwood. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, three sisters; Janice and Robert Rice of New Port Richey, Florida; Patricia and Patrick Rourk of Norwood; and Penelope Fredel of Syracuse; a sister-in-law Irene and Pete Drake of Ocala, Florida; a brother in law; Paul and Donna Tessier of Ashboro, N.C. and several nieces and nephews. Born in Potsdam on August 1, 1935; son of Lawrence and Eva Strait Dean; he married Shirley Tessier on October 2, 1958. He retired as Director of St. Lawrence County Veterans Agency, retiring in 1994. He also retired from the United States Air Force in 1974. He was a member of the Norwood American Legion.
