Obituary of Mary M. Tebo

NORWOOD—Funeral services for 86 year old Mary M. Tebo, 46 Prospect Street, Norwood, will be held Friday at 10 am at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mrs. Tebo passed away Tuesday evening at the Maplewood Campus in Canton. Mary is survived by her son, Joseph W. and a daughter Ms. Kathryn Tebo, both of Norwood; her two brothers, Richard Hurley, Norwood and Robert and Linda Hurley, Adams, Center and her sister, Rita Hurley, Norwood. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Donald, Timothy, Gerald and Harold. Born in Stockholm on July 20, 1924 to the late Timothy J. and Mary F. Hourihan Hurley, she graduated from Brasher-Stockholm School in 1943 and from the Malone Business School in 1944. She married William Tebo on July 10, 1948. He passed away on November 8, 1885. She worked at McCormick’s Grocery in Norwood. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Alter and Rosary Society at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood. She loved having good times with her many friends and loved playing cards. She went to the Lourdes in 1995 with her son, Joe. Memorial donations can be made to the Norwood First Responders.
