MASSENA-- Graveside services for 81 year old Evelyn K. Jean Farnsworth, 47 West Orvis Street, Massena, and formerly of Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 5 pm at the Raymondville Cemetery with Martha Helmer presiding. Mrs. Farnsworth passed away Thursday morning at her home.
Jean is survived by a son, Ronald and Stacy Farnsworth, Arizona, her daughter Candise and Melvin Taylor, Massena, her five grandchildren, Joseph Terminelli, Michael Terminelli, Sara Taylor McIvor, Zachary Taylor and Tanner Farnsworth. Jean is also survived by her brothers Everett and Fran Kingsley, Norwood; Allen and Sandy Kingsley, Potsdam; and her three sisters, Audrey Bicknell, Potsdam; Norma and Robert Burns, Raymondville and Cheryl and Jon Hazen, Raymondville. She was pre-deceased by her husband.
Born in Norfolk on May 25, 1929 to the late Dean and Bernice Cyrus Kingsley, she married Dean Farnsworth in September of 1954. She worked as a secretary at the Harrison Rogers Insurance Agency in Norfolk, and later at the Norwood-Norfolk Central School until her retirement in 1989.
