NorfolkGraveside Services for 79, year old Barbara R. Clookey, of 1892 County Route 38, will be Tuesday at 10 AM, at Bixby Cemetery in Norfolk. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Clookey died Friday afternoon at St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena.
She is survived by a son Richard Clookey, Norfolk, a daughter Sandra Hann, Norfolk, her brothers, Raymond Sweeney, Massena; Kenneth Sweeney, Kentucky; Donald Sweeney, Massena; Edward Sweeney, Florida and her sisters Mildred Hensler, PA; Keitha LaBarge and Dorothy Green, both of Massena. She was pre-deceased by her sons Lawrence A. Clookey Jr. and Stephen Clookey , her sister Blanche Clemmo and her two brothers William Sweeney and Joseph Sweeney.
Born in Massena on November 30, 1930 to Albert and Amelia Gavrin Sweeney, she married Lawrence A. Clookey Sr. on April 14, 1951. He passed away on January 7, 1983. She was a homemaker.
