NORFOLK Funeral services for 76 year old Maude D. Martin, of 426 Joy Road, Norfolk; will be held Wednesday at 12 Noon at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow , pastor of St. Andrews Church, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of the funeral.
Surviving are two daughters; Valerie and Rick Shumway, Tupper Lake; Bonnie Martin, Norfolk; one son; Douglas and Lynn Martin, Lyons ; 13 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was pre- deceased by two sons; George Jr. and Joseph ; one brother, Lyle Greenwood and three sisters, Geraldine Deshane, Marietta McGregor, and Delores Burrows.
Born in Lawrenceville, New York , daughter of George and Ruby McMahn Greenwood, she married George Martin on November 3, 1951. He died on September 12, 2007. She was employed as a prep-cook at Tupper Lake Adult Center before retiring.
