Obituary of Dustin M. Berger

NORWOOD—Funeral services for 15 year old Dustin M. Berger, 42 Spring Street, Norwood, will be held Saturday at 2 pm at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Calling hours will be held Friday at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mr. Berger passed away unexpectedly Tuesday. Dustin is survived by his mother, Mary and Scott Merkley, Norwood, his father, Matthew Berger and his companion Tracey Burnett, Norfolk, his maternal grandparents Jack and Arloene Morgan, Norwood and Kenneth Spencer, West Stockholm, his paternal Grandmother, Deborah Berger, Norfolk, his maternal great-grandmothers, Gladys Adams, Norwood and Rena Morgan, Canton, his paternal great-grandmother Shirley Foote, Norfolk, his brothers Devin Berger, Norwood and Matthew Berger, Massena and his sisters Makyla and Marayna Merkley, Norwood, and aunts and uncles. He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather Robert Berger. Born in Potsdam on April 2, 1995 to Matthew and Mary Spencer Berger, he was a student in the 8th grade at Norwood-Norfolk Central School. He enjoyed working outside, racing four-wheelers, hunting, scuba diving, and spending time with his family and his girlfriend.
