NORWOOD—Funeral services with military honors for 84 year old Partick J. Regan, 12 Pleasant Street, Norwood, will be held Saturday at 11 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot and Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow concelebrating. Burial will be held in Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mr. Regan passed away Tuesday evening at his home. Mr. Regan is survived by his wife, Loretta “Petey”, Norwood, his three sons, Patrick Regan Jr., Potsdam, George and Sue Regan, Potsdam, and Kevin and Annette Regan, Potsdam, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers John Regan, Florida, Edward and Sharon Regan, Ohio, Daniel and Betty Regan, San Diego, Calf., Thomas and Sondra Regan, Dannemora , Vincent and Claire Regan, Louisville and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Margaret, a brother Gerry and his sisters Virginia LaShomb, Kathleen Wilson and Maureen Traynor. Born in Potsdam to the late James and Kathleen Mahoney Regan on October 11, 1925, he married Loretta “Petey” Sabad on December 30, 1950. He worked at ALCOA in Massena for ten years, did carpentry work and owned Real Estate rental properties. He was past Democratic Commissioner of Elections, a member of the Watertown Carpenters Union, Local 278, and was proud to be a Veteran, serving as a pilot in the Army-Air Corp. during WWII. He was a member of the Norwood American Legion and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
