NORFOLK– Funeral services for 72 year old Donald A. “Swamp” Greenwood, of 1 East High Street, Norfolk, will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Brushton. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the funeral. Mr. Greenwood is survived by two sons, Michael and Gary, three daughters, Janet, Karen and Barbara Greenwood, all of Fulton, a brother Martin, Chicago, Illinois, a sister Mrs. Shirley Russell, Norfolk, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Kenneth, Harold, Glen and Thomas and a sister Regina Michaud. Born in Norfolk on April 20, 1937 to the late Aloney and Margaret Martin Greenwood, a marriage to Anna Ryan ended in divorce. He worked as a laborer for Barretts Paving Materials. He loved strumming on his guitar and eating out, especially at McDonald’s in Potsdam. Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice or to the Norfolk Fire Department.
