Obituary of Richard L. Boyle

Funeral services for 71 year old Richard L. Boyle of 36 Ridge Street in Norwood, will be held Wednesday at 11AM at St. Andrews Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Norwood. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood from 4-7 Tuesday. Mr. Boyle died Sunday at University Hospital in Syracuse. Surviving: Wife- Margaret;Norwood Son-Michael J. Boyle; Long Island Daughters- Kathleen & Patrick Harvey; Fort Covington Anne & Brian Kelly; Pleasantville,NY 10 Grandchildren Brothers- Wm. R. & Linda Boyle;Stanford,Conn.;Donald J. Boyle,Gloversville;Jack & Patricia Boyle,Westfield,N.J. Cousins James Peets,Brasher Falls and Cathy Green,Massena.Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Born in Malone on September 4, 1936, son of William F. and Mae A. Peets Boyle, he married Margaret Badger on 12/27/1961.He had a Masters Degree plus 60 credit hours on his doctorite degree.He was a Math Teacher at the Port Washington School District in Long Island for 34 years retiring in 1994. He was a Lecturer and communicant of St. Andrew Church, Past President and Member of the Norwood Kiwanis Club,Chairman of the Norwood Museum,Trumpet player for the Norwood Brass Fireman, an outstanding photographer and a avid sports and music fan.
