POTSDAM - There will be no funeral services for 62 year old John E. Pelkey, of Midtown Apartments in Potsdam. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood Monday from 6-8 PM.Mr. Pelkey died Friday at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Surviving are one son;Edwin Pelkey of Massena; four daughters;Dawn and Craig Fuller, Betty Pelkey, and Jodie Pelkey, all of Norwood and Johnnie Pelkey of Ogdensburg, 18 Grandchildren, 3 Great - Grandchildren, and 1 sister; Ann LaBarge of Norfolk. She was pre-deceased by a brother Robert Pelkey.
He was born in Potsdam on November 20,1946, son of John and Lena McGregor Williams. He was disabled most of his life but in earlier years, he worked for Elliott Lumber in Potsdam.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Potsdam, a member of the Son's of American Legion in Potsdam, and a member of the Potsdam Moose Club.Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.buckfuneralhome.com
