COLTON– Funeral services for 72 year old Ellen S. Davis, of 172 Gulf Road, Colton, will be held Friday at 2 pm at St. Patricks Church in Colton with Rev. Bryan Stitt, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patricks cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband Robert of Colton, her sons Thomas Davis of Seattle, WA and Peter Davis and his companion Sue Johnson of Canton and a daughter Mrs. Phillip Barbara Remington of Parishville. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a sister Sally McEvoy of Cambria, CA. Born in Syracuse on December 31, 1936 to the late Hollis and Virginia Little Wilson, she graduated from Pulaski Academy Central and later from ATC in Canton with a dietician degree. She worked for the Colton-Pierrepont Central School as the manager of the cafeteria for 20 years, retiring in 1991. Along with traveling, she enjoyed reading, crocheting and tending to flower gardens. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Ethlyn B.
